Nasson J. Rodriguez, DDS
Dr. Rodriguez attends numerous continuing education courses every year. He has completed all continuums at the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation for Advanced Dental Studies. He was awarded a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1982 and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association.
Dr. Rodriguez attends monthly study club meetings with the C.F. Kells Dental Study Group and was president from 1989-1990. He was president of the Graduate Chapter of Delta Sigma Professional Dental Fraternity in 1974-1975.
His staff is selected on their technical abilities, personality, and intelligence. They are highly trained paradental personnel who have the dedication needed to provide the finest care. He and his staff share the commitment to offer the finest, most comprehensive dental treatment possible.
Dr. Rodriguez is a lifelong resident of the Westbank in New Orleans and resides with his wife in Gretna.
Highlights and Achievements
Dr. Rodriguez graduated from Loyola University New Orleans, School of Dentistry, in 1963, and has had a private practice in New Orleans since 1965. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and New Orleans Dental Association. A past president of the West Bank Rotary Club and a Paul Harris fellow, Dr. Rodriguez is a past president of Delta Sigma Delta, a dental fraternity. Before opening his practice, he served in the US Air Force Dental Corps.
In 1999, Dr. Rodriguez was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry’s Mastership Award. This award is presented to a select group of dentists who had more than 1,100 hours of continuing education, with 400 hours dedicated to hands-on application of a skill. Members of the Academy of General Dentistry are committed to continuing their dental education to ensure the best care for their patients by taking 75 hours of continuing education each year.
